Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is nowadays a prosperous region with bright colorful nature, sun and sea and oriental spirit. This country was once Zoroastrian, Christian, Islamic. Azerbaijan has its own oil which makes the country rather rich an enables it to effective world cooperation. You can still see the influence of the 19th century oil boom in luxurious residences of oil barons. These people suddenly became millionaires and lost everything in one day after the Soviets came to power. By the way the Nobel family actively participated in oil business development in Azerbaijan. And the famous Nobel prize is actually based on the interest from this income.

Three Caucasian Countries

Caucasus is a special place, a crossroad between Europe and Asia, very different from both. These ancient lands are rich in history, nature and authentic culture. Three little countries Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan have once made a part of the 15 republics of the USSR. Nowadays after over 20 years of independence they have all gone through dramatic changes. Each country made it's own way.
