Bistraya River is flowing in the central part of Kamchatka Peninsula. This is the second longest river in Kamchatka. The width of the river in the region where we will be rafting and fishing is from 20 to 40 meters, the flow speed is 1 meter per second. In the middle part of the river (route) there are numbers of small rapids. They are not technically difficult, with the current speed of 2-4 meters per second. Maximum amount of water in the river is measured in July. The reason is an intensive snow melting in the mountains in this period. Bistraya river is crossing Sredinni (Middle) Range in wild places with untouched nature and flows into Okhotskoye Sea. Fishing there is very good. Apart form that one may enjoy gathering mushrooms and berries. Bird and bear watching is always possible. Rafting is also very interesting and exciting. Our guides will make it safe, choosing the best places for camping. They will cook many delicious meals for you, especially from the freshly caught fish.
