Homestay Biking

This is a unique opportunity for those who would like to experience the real life of the rural Russia. The small villages that have preserved many attributes of Russia in the past will take you back in time. You will learn more about the history of the region which was of great importance for Russian Empire.

You will visit St. Petersburg that is a large European city, but just a couple of hours driving bring you to another world – small villages with medieval wooden churches hidden in the middle of boundless fields, wild forests near two largest lakes in Europe – Ladoga and Onega lakes.
We will visit the world famous Kizhi Museum that is one of the largest out-door museums in Russia.
To get a real feeling of Russian hospitality enjoy tea from ‘samovar’ at a private house accompanied by homemade pies – just from the oven!

This is a biking trip and you will need some certain physical health to go through it. The bikes used are "for all roads".
The road is asphalt or good country and the traffic is very small. The trip is supported by a car, so that the bikers travel only with day-packs.
