Detailed itinarary

The following itinerary is intended as a working guide only and it is subject to variation as a result of local conditions, weather and governmental restrictions. We reserve the right to alter (lengthen or shorten) the trip at any time if necessary. Timetables are altered occasionally and it may be necessary to vary our itinerary to adapt to these changes.

DAY 1. Arrive in Tashkent. Fly via Andijan to Osh in Kirgizia (200 miles). Night in guest house not far from the bazaar.

DAY 2. Drive (150 miles, 8 hours) via Sarytash to a base camp by Kyzyl Su River in the Alai Valley. 3800m. Along the way we cross the Alai Ridge.

DAYS 3 - 19. Climb in the Nura Glacier region, including an attempt on one or more major 5000m peak.

DAY 20. Drive to Osh.

DAY 21. Drive to Andijan (1 hr), fly to Tashkent (1hr) then home.
