Between Islam And Christianity

This is a look inside the ancient country to see people who still preserve ancient way of livinig and forefather’s traditions. We explore medieval villages in mountainous regions Tusheti and Khevsureti, areas of forgotten wilderness where traditions remain unchanged for many centuries. At the most remote places people still live in the houses with earth floor. Some houses people use for living have tower type as in middle sentries, when such type of houses formed village-fortress for defending. In most of the villages there are no electricity, to some villages still you can get only following narrow mountain paths. Main occupation here is sheep-breeding and cattle-breeding. We visit the wine-growing region Kakheti in eastern Georgia. Wine-growing and wine making traditions dated back centuries and centuries ago and is like a kind of religions for local people.
