All reservations are made by the Geographic Bureau and its agents subject to the following conditions:
There shall be no contract made between the Geographic Bureau and their agents and the person(s) on whose behalf the booking may have been made (the clients) until:

The required Geographic Bureau booking form has been properly completed and signed by, or on behalf of the clients.

The appropriate deposit of 10% of the program cost per person has been received by the Geographic Bureau, unless booking within 8 weeks prior to your departure, then full payment of the cost of the holiday is required with your signed booking form.

The booking has been confirmed by the Geographic Bureau and a confirmation/invoice sent, which is payable 8 weeks prior to the program. Should the balance not be paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit paid.

The Geographic Bureau reserves the right to decline any booking.
Please read the "Booking Conditions". The "Booking form" will be send to you upon request. You should complete it and send back to us together with the, insurance form (if applicable) and booking fee. The booking form may be sent electronically. Should a place not be available on your chosen trip we will offer you an alternative or refund your money in full. You may contact us (gb@geographicbureau.com) to check availability or make a provisional booking before sending your deposit.
On receipt of your deposit we will confirm your booking and send you an information package giving further trek and travel information, equipment list and visa application form if necessary.
Our maximum group size for scheduled trips is 15, and our minimum group size is 6; smaller groups will be considered but a surcharge, to be discussed at the time of booking, will be added. We are happy to discuss the details of any program with you.
These will be given to you two weeks before departure along with your ticket and flight information. Please ensure that we have a contact address for you prior to the trip in case there is a change in flight plan or meeting place.
The name, address and telephone number of the the Geographic Bureau Representative/Agent will be forwarded with the predeparture information as will the name of the leader and guides.
A full valid passport and visa is required for entry into each of the countries in the CIS. The Geographic Bureau will process your visa support(s) for you. With the visa support you will be able to apply for visa. Detailed visa procedures instructions will be given with the pre-departure information.
Your doctor will advise you on health care, recommended vaccinations and your nearest vaccination center. It is your own responsibility to take sufficient quantities of any specific medication you require.
When traveling outside Europe it is advisable to be protected against TB, Tetanus, Polio, Typhoid and Hepatitis. Protection against Encephalitis is recommended for travel in some areas of the CIS. You are welcome to contact us for simple hints and suggestions on the subject.
